all the polka dot bandits

All the polka dot bandits
Had just arrived in town
So the Sherif told them to leave before
the city clock had struck nine
As they entered into the saloon
Everyone was feeling uptight
Hoping all the polka dot bandits
Would soon be leaving this town

They wore paisley shirts, and chelsea boots
They were out for a night in town
But the people thought it was not quite right
For boys to look so camp!

They wore checked hipsters and big dark shades
They were out for a night in town
But the people thought it was not quite right
For boys to look so camp!

All the polka dot bandits
Had records wrapped in their bags
When "Revolver" boomed out of the stereo
The Sherif started to frawn
But soon everyone joined them dancing
As the old city clock struck nine
And now all the polka dot bandits
Are welcome here anytime
